Biological Sciences Students Association (BIOSSA) is the official student association for students pursuing BSc. Biological Science in the University of Energy and Natural Resources.

BIOSSA was established in 2017 after the first cohort of students were enrolled onto the programme. Members of BIOSSA are milled through a well-structured training that equip them to be goal oriented, critical problem solvers, selfless and compactible group workers in their respective fields.

MISSION

  • - To contribute to the sustainable development and protection of a healthy environment.
  • - To cooperate with other biological communities to embark on research works, have workshops to enhance the skills of our students.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

  • To promote interest and facilitate academic progress of the students
  • To promote education on the need to study biology to pupils from every section of the society.
  • To help members become more practical oriented in the various fields of Biological Science.
  • To foster unity between staff and students of the association.
